About Tiba Dental Academy
We are an oral surgery practice in Antwerp. The academy grew out of the daily work at the chair: the checks, the protocols, the small habits that decide whether a treatment is safe.
Why we teach
In most practices, the assistant is the first person to see a problem and the last to be asked about it. Laser safety, radiography, sterilisation, anaesthesia support — the theory exists, but it rarely reaches the team in a form they can use on a Monday morning.
We started recording our own protocols. Short lessons, one idea each, filmed where the work actually happens. Not a textbook, and not a two-day course in another city.
What we teach
Ten modules for dental assistants and front-office teams: dental laser safety, radiography and intra-oral scanning, ultrasonic scaling, prevention, local anaesthesia support, assisting basics, root canal assisting, implant surgery assisting, patient care and practice administration. One advanced module for dentists working with lasers.
How it works
Each module is eight short video lessons, a final exam of ten questions, and a dated certificate of completion with a verification number. Access is twelve months, and every course is published in English, Dutch, French and Arabic.
What our certificate is — and is not
It is a certificate of continuing education. It documents that you completed the module and passed the assessment. It is not a state-recognised diploma and it does not give you a legal authorisation: taking radiographs or operating a laser remains regulated by the law where you work.
